Boutique Apartments is considering implementing an Appliance Sharing program where our residents could check out appliances from a “library” of items such as vacuums, irons, blenders, waffle makers, mixers, coffee makers, etc. Basically items that you might not need that often, but that you would borrow on occasion. The check-out period would be about 2-3 days, and the appliances would be located in our property management office.

What we’d like to find out from our residents is:
1) Would you participate in such a program?
2) If so, what appliances would be useful to have available?
3) Lastly, are there other items besides appliances you’d like to see in a “library”?

We’d love to hear your thoughts, so please post comments with your answers to these 3 questions, and any comments you might have. We’ll make a decision based on your feedback.
